Zombie properties Inching Up Again in Third quarter

1.3 million residential properties sit vacant

1.3 million? Yes you read that right.

ATTOM released it’s third-quarter 2022 Vacant Property and Zombie Foreclosure report showing that 1.3 million residential properties are sitting vacant in the United States. This figure represents 1.3 percent, or one in 78 homes, across the nation.

The report reveals the third-quarter is up 4.4 percent from the second quarter of 2022 and up 25.5 percent from the third quarter of 2021.
